I sat at my desk in front of the window, overlooking the cul de sac where I live. The snow lay fresh and white on the ground. Many were grumbling that it was only November and way to early for the "white stuff" to hit. I feel invigorated by the first snow fall. It signifies a season change! For some that may be a hard concept to accept but for myself, I love the times when it appears we get a second chance to start over. This teaser of winter brings with it an abundance of possibilities. Family time is what I think of in the winter. It gets dark so early, we tend to slow down our business and hibernate in our homes for the evening and spend time together. A much needed new beginning. The snow allows me to stop worrying about the fact I don't have a green thumb and my over grown gardens will look quixotic with a blanket of snow on them and all the dead stems sticking through will be so lovely with the first crystals of ice forming on them. Winter fashions are so much more appealing to me. Being an avid thrift store hunter I have quite a collection and the more layers I can pile on the more I get to wear my unique finds. As I look down from the window and to my computer screen, I see a blank page, white as snow. Another new beginning. I'm excited to see what new play I will create on it...the abundance of possibilities are endless.
Have a kingdom kind of day!
